This role includes conducting behavioral health assessments, developing treatment plans, providing individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and collaborating with families, schools, and community partners to support student well-being.
The ideal candidate is a compassionate and dedicated professional with strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and a passion for empowering adolescents in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Primary responsibilities include providing clinical mental health services, crisis intervention, treatment planning, referrals to community resources, maintaining clinical and billing records, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, participating in community outreach, and complying with HIPAA and applicable federal, state, and agency policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited institution
• Michigan licensure as LMSW, LPC, or MFT (limited licensure candidates may be considered)
• Experience providing counseling, therapy, and crisis intervention services
• Experience working with adolescents in a school-based or community setting preferred
• Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and ability to travel as needed
