Description Join the Housing Authority and make a difference! The Housing Authority of the County of San Bernardino was organized in 1941 and to date is the largest provider of affordable housing in the County. We are currently looking for a Self Sufficiency Specialist, under general supervision, oversees, coordinates and monitors education, career, employment support and other programs and services intended to assist program participants of the Housing Authority of the County of San Bernardino in achieving economic self-sufficiency, stability and resiliency. Will be responsible for coordinating outreach and assessing program performance; plans, organizes and participates in the interview process; advises participants and service providers regarding the Housing Authority policies, regulations, guidelines and procedures. | ||||||||||||||||||||

Skills Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with major coursework in education, management, social work, planning or closely related field; at least 3 years of progressively responsible experience in developing and implementing client-self-sufficiency, upward mobility, educational programs. Bilingual preferred. Previous experience working with diverse low-income or targeted populations desired. | ||||||||||||||||||||
