Description
Position Overview The Student Outreach Coordinator is a hybrid role requiring work in the field, home office, and virtual classroom settings. Reporting to the Student Outreach Manager, this role focuses on participant recruitment, case management, and student support within an assigned region in California. The Student Outreach Coordinator collaborates with multiple stakeholders, including CCA/Home Care executives, staff, labor partners, and training providers, to identify and assess potential training opportunities. This role requires travel within the assigned local region for in-person meetings and recruitment efforts.Key Responsibilities Participate in business plan development and execution, led by the Director of Fund Development and President and Chief Executive Officer, that has clear objectives and Key Performance Indicators to drive revenue diversification, complementing CCA’s fund development (philanthropic fundraising, corporate sponsorships, and government grants), expand its geographic reach, and raise brand awareness. Help cultivate relationships statewide with public authorities, managed care organizations, youth career pathways, and workforce development boards recognizing the opportunities and challenges of doing so in a hybrid work environment and a dynamic, increasingly competitive market that requires a firm understanding of managed care organizations in particular and a commitment to ongoing reviews of health plan industry changes Secure in-person and online meetings for executive and senior leadership with decision makers at managed care organizations leading to business contracts Support partnership negotiations and agreements with tasks including—but not limited to—crafting strategic sponsorship decks and partnership proposals that clearly communicate organizational impact, return on investment (ROI), and long-term value to Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) and other prospective partners. Attends in-person and online meetings with key MCO decision-makers regarding contracts, assessing return on investment for all stakeholders, partnering with Finance on budget development and financial tracking, creating templates with standardized language for agreements and Memoranda of Understanding, and ensuring project deliverables are tracked and met. Liaise with the Programs teams to gain a deep understanding of CCA’s training programs and services, informing why and how to pursue new business partners. Leverage the Data and Research team to understand the constituency served and prioritize work across 42 of California’s counties represented by SEIU Local 2015. Collaborate with the Communications team to create effective marketing and public relations materials. Exercise sound judgment in escalating opportunities and concerns to management and knowing when and how to facilitate introductions between prospective business partners and senior leadership. Represent the organization at industry convenings, conferences, and networking events. Communicate project goals and status by keeping progress current in real-time through project management software. Support Fund Development projects as assigned, including prospect research, identification and development, and donor cultivation and stewardship.

Skills
Qualifications: 3+ yrs in biz development, partnerships, or fund dev in health-related sectors. Strong writing/speaking skills; experience with proposals, sponsorships, cold outreach. Organized, analytical, DEI-driven, and tech-savvy. Passion for nonprofit growth; fundraising & managed care background preferred.mission. Adult ed, CRM, LMS, and healthcare exp. a plus.
