Position Overview
The Director of Programs – Skilled Nursing Fund (SNF) is a senior leadership role at the Center for Caregiver Advancement (CCA), reporting to the Chief Program Officer (CPO). This role is responsible for the strategic planning, administration, and execution of SNF training programs statewide. As part of the Education Center leadership team, the Director plays a vital role in shaping innovative, high-impact training for skilled nursing professionals, with a focus on improving workforce quality and retention across California.
The Director will partner closely with the CEO, CPO, and key departments to advance the Skilled Nursing Facility Labor Management Training Partnership (LMTP), manage program budgets, guide vendor relations, and oversee cross-functional collaboration to ensure excellence in program delivery, outcomes, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of SNF training programs, ensuring alignment with CCA’s mission and strategic goals.
Collaborate with the CPO to drive innovation in training delivery, program evaluation, and student experience.
Support the LMTP by identifying workforce needs and co-developing training strategies with union and facility partners.
Develop and manage program budgets in coordination with the CPO to support the geographic reach and infrastructure of CCA’s member base.
Oversee vendor negotiations and partnerships for training delivery, technology platforms, and support services.
Collaborate with Salesforce and LMS teams to ensure secure, accurate student data management and outcome reporting.
Coordinate with university-affiliated research partners to design impact studies for funders, partners, and public dissemination.
Analyze recruitment, enrollment, and program data; partner with the Outreach and Learning & Instruction teams to optimize engagement and retention.
Contribute to grant proposals and funding initiatives in partnership with the Development Team and union representatives.
Serve as a key liaison with funders, SEIU Local 2015, public authorities, and external stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and promote CCA’s work.
Ensure program operations meet compliance standards, organizational policies, and grant guidelines.
Supervise program staff, providing training, mentorship, and performance feedback to support professional growth and program success.
Represent CCA at local and national conferences, including co-designing and delivering presentations.
Collaborate with CPO and senior leadership to implement CCA’s strategic vision and long-term goals.
Monitor industry trends and changes in long-term care, home care, and healthcare at the state and national levels.
Perform other duties as assigned by the CPO or designee.

Skills
Bachelor’s in healthcare or related field (Master’s preferred). Bilingual and 5+ yrs program mgmt. experience required. Strong leadership, staff development, tech proficiency, and commitment to CCA’s mission. Adult ed, healthcare, and CRM/LMS experience preferred.
