Company Information
Formerly known as the Brooklyn AIDS Task Force, Bridging Access to Care is the first HIV/AIDS organization in Brooklyn. Established in 1986, we have been serving persons living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) since the beginning of the epidemic. In 2012, BAC successfully made the transition from an AIDS-centered organization to a multiservice community-based healthcare organization. The growth has allowed BAC to continue treating PLWHA and expanded services to address their families’ medical and behavioral health needs and communities in which they live.

Today, BAC provides mental health, substance use treatment, supportive housing, prevention education, healthcare coordination, and other social support services to under-served racial and ethnic minority communities in the Brooklyn and other parts of New York City.
