The Children & Family Treatment Support Services Program (CFTSS) Clinical Administrator will provide supervision and oversight for the Children and Family Treatment and Support Services program to restore, rehabilitate and support the staff in their delivery of services to children/youth and their families in order to promote their developmental skills necessary for the integration of the children/youth to become productive members of the family.The Clinical Administrator will provide training, manages fiscal/billing matters, address client concerns, incident reporting review and approve progress notes, be aware of and sensitive to trauma informed care and the cultural needs of the child/youth and how to best meet their needs. The Clinical Administrator is expected to work flexible schedule when requested.
Duties & Responsibilities:
As a member of an interdisciplinary team to provide supervision and oversight to staff workers
Carry out the policies and procedures of the CFTSS/HCBS programs
Ensure that all staff receive Agency Training
Assist staff in their professional development such as attendance at conferences, training etc.
Assist the staff to develop and apply skills
Complete performance evaluations
Teach staff to deliver services in a trauma informed, culturally and linguistically competent manner
Provide supervision to staff as they implement services within the context of each child’s treatment plan, assist staff in establishing support networks, build and enhance personal relationships with child/youth and family
Provide staff with insight on how to implement coping strategies and effective functioning in the child/youth social environment, including home, work and school locations
Provide supervision to staff as they promote psycho education to family pertaining to the child’s diagnosis and reestablish daily functioning skills and personal autonomy skills including but not limited to learning self-care, developing personal interests, managing medication and treatments, learning about community resources, and good health routines
Work flexible hours as needed
Review and approve staff progress notes
Perform other duties as assigned
