Description
Responsbilities include:Provide assistance to victims of domestic violence in obtaining restraining orders. Provide necessary services to assure immediate safety and long-term needs of the client and his/her dependents. Work in collaboration with law enforcement, court, and partner agencies.

Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in behavioral science, criminal justice, or related field. Knowledge of the criminal justice system, family dynamics, aspects of family violence, and victimology. Experience working with clients involving victim services and/or peer counseling preferred. Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills. Complete training for certification as a Sexual Assault Counselor and a Domestic Violence Counselor. Bilingual English/Spanish required.
