New Alternatives for Children, Inc. (NAC) is an award-winning not-for-profit agency in Midtown Manhattan, with a satellite Bronx office, dedicated to serving children and families with medical complexity, chronic health conditions, significant disabilities and behavioral challenges. To assist in achieving this mission, NAC is currently seeking a Quality Improvement Specialist to join its Quality Improvement Department.
NAC’s Quality Improvement Department monitors program compliance and acts as a liaison between outside auditors/oversight/regulatory bodies and NAC leadership. The QI department partners with program leadership to support best practices, ensure requirements are met, and improve specific targeted corrective actions on a continuous basis. This is done through regular reviews, monthly meetings, and builds upon strong relationships and consistent procedures.

Description of Responsibilities:
•Provide QI oversight for Care Management program,
•Conduct chart reviews/quarterly audits, monitor corrective actions,
•Complete billing reconciliations
•Monitor staff training
•Attend CCF committee meetings,
•Compile monthly and quarterly reports, and manage incident reporting and review,
•Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience: Master’s Degree required (MBA, MPH, MPA, MA, MSW, or Social Services Degree)
