Brooklyn based nonprofit seeks Mental Health Therapist - Mobile Crisis (Day) -VETS/ Adults with a Master’s Degree in LMHC/LMSW/LCSW with 3 years experience. Must be able to provide comprehensive clinical services to individuals presenting at the CCBHC clinic. Provide crisis services in the community as needed. The MH Therapist will provide clinical services to adults on-site at CCBHC and offer crisis services in-home and in the community. Crisis intervention (aggressive behavior; suicide threats, ideation; domestic violence) works with clients who are experiencing domestic violence (DV) or have a history of DV, and/or who have a co-occurring mental illness, life trauma or chronic conditions and/or substance abuse issues). Familiarity with psychotropic medications, expected outcomes, and adverse side effects to report to the primary care physician or psychiatrist

Strong individual and group counseling skills. (Clinical internships provided to a similar populations can be counted towards the post-graduate experience- if it can be documented.) Working experience in best practices-Motivational Interviewing etc. Excellent writing and communication skills’
