Manage all onboarding, run background screenings and vet new hire packets.
Create new hire packets – Pay close attention to ‘audit forms’ that must be scanned to ADP before file is filed away.
Input new hire information into the Payroll database and NY State new hire database
Participate and facilitate a portion of new staff orientation.
Run MVR (Motor Vehicle Report for all employees that drive as a requirement for their position.
Provide back up support in the absence of HR Assistant for various administrative functions including ADP database management
Perform additional duties as assigned by their supervisors.
Provide administrative support within the Benefit leave process and manage spreadsheet or databases in this area.
Make weekly Employee folders for new hires and upload to ADP
Create a New Hire spreadsheet (from weekly NEO) and mark all documents: signed offer letter, Diploma/certificate, signed job description, W4, IT2104, I9. Date when file done and filed away.
Upload to ADP any files as requested by HR staff.
Make copies, scan, mail, provide Files or Employee information as requested by HR staff.
Collaborate with HR Assistant and serve as a backup support with onboarding to ensure that all forms are sent to new hire (attach HR forms, Benefit forms and COVID policy)
