The Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) Child Therapist will report to the Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) Program Manager and provide mental health therapy to children aged birth to 12 and supportive services to their caretakers. The staff will provide assessment, individual therapy, family therapy, psychoeducation and parenting services on a weekly basis to consumers and their caretakers. The staff will coordinate linkage and referral services as necessary and provide training to educators and mental health professionals. BBSE supervisory hours will be provided by a licensed mental health professional.Requirements
·Provides virtual, office and field-based mental health therapy.
·Works with children, caretakers, and families to meet treatment needs and goals.
·Provides Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation to providers, educators, partners, and others.
·Plans, prepares, and conducts presentations to educators, staff, professionals, providers and the community on topics related to 0-5 and mental health.
·Manages workload, time and cases efficiently and turns in paperwork, reports, notes, evaluations and outcome measures by deadlines.
· Must be able to communicate efficiently both verbally and orally and present in public.
