Looking to be part of a Community Based Team. Merakey is seeking a Licensed Therapist to join our ITS Service Team in Sacramento, California. This is a wonderful opportunity to help assist a vulnerable population. Make a schedule that works with you!

Schedule: Flexible schedule that includes traditional work hours 8:30am-4:30pm or 4/10's.

Position Overview:
The Licensed Mental Health Professional as a member of the ITS Program, will possess clinical experience to assess, plan, develop, coordinate and provide treatment, rehabilitation and support services to program individuals with BH and IDD diagnosis (Dual Diagnoses) under the clinical supervision of the Program Director and Psychiatrist.

The Licensed Behavior Specialist will be responsible for:
    *Collaborating with other members of the treatment team, assessing, designing, and directing the implementation of a recovery-oriented treatment and support plan that uses a person-centered approach for children and adults with a developmental disability and mental health diagnosis.
   *Providing intensive therapeutic services in all types of settings, including but not limited to community living arrangements, schools, community settings, natural support residences, and more.
   * Leading development and monitoring of behavioral support interventions and/or collaborating with external behavior support professionals.
    *Providing individual and group treatment and support, choosing applicable modalities according to each individual’s/family’s needs and treatment plan.
   * Collecting, evaluating, and presenting behavioral data through a functional behavioral assessment process.
    *Conducting trainings related to the implementation of person-centered plans.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

   Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or social work.

   Three year's of experience of providing treatment to adults who are I/DD.
