Founded in 1978 San Francisco’s Tenderloin District, the Southeast Asian Development Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to lifting children, youth and families from Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam out of poverty. Our services help provide vulnerable Southeast Asian Americans with basic needs and skills critical to building successful futures. We make available academic support, language service, health, wellness, job search skills, social guidance. SEADC promotes cultural resiliency.

POSITION SUMMARY: As a senior member of the leadership team, the Program Director will manage and support a team of 3-4 program managers; monitor progress, assess and develop resources to enhance program execution and impact. Working closely with the Executive Director and Communications & Development Director, you would also engage with current and prospective board members, funders, partners, and the community.

ABOUT YOU: Are you a leader who wants to transform circumstances for real people, every day? We are seeking a leader, experienced in managing mission-driven teams providing scaled programs for underserved communities in the Bay Area. Experience in the direct service nonprofits; experience in support of low-income immigrants and refugees, is a home run. A background in organizational development, strategy/program design, and budget management is vital.

•        Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree in Public Administration; nonprofit leadership, social work or related field is a plus
•        7-10 years’ experience in career development, job placement, economic development, or social work/social service
•        5+ years of supervisory experience
•        3+ years’ experience with low-income community members, preferred
