Description
The Housing Navigator and Data Analyst is an administrative position responsible for coordination, communication, and collaboration with AirBnB, and other internal and external housing opportunities for young adults and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. This is an exciting new position that is part of a larger collaboration in San Jose to prevent and end homelessness by providing resources that are data informed that include housing, education, employment and life skills development to best prepare young adults and families who are or at risk of being homeless for sustainability and success.

•        Manage the AirBnB for work platform to identify immediate and short term housing options matched to individual or family needs.
•        Collaborate with BWC staff to manage all housing openings across programs to increase utilization rate by coordinating placements
•        Develop a client housing flow chart using real-time data to move youth seamlessly from one housing option to another
•        Develop processes, reports and other systems for communicating and filing housing openings
•        Prepare and facilitate presentations about housing occupancy data and trends
•        Process financial assistance for move in costs, deposits and/or delinquent rent.
•        Maintain accurate and timely data and produce housing occupancy reports and snapshots
•        Run reports, generate actuals and analyze data that all programs are meeting outcomes and outputs per grant expectations and agency strategic plan goals (as appropriate) and support the maintenance of the agency wide metrics, goals vs actuals.
•        Generate comparative data reports to ensure data in HMIS matches data in AWARDS (BWC’s electronic health care record), analyze data quality reports in HMIS and perform / coordinate data quality clean up across the 2 systems.

Skills
BA degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.Demonstrated experience in customer service and working with various data systems. Knowledge of on-line platforms and ability to navigate (AirBnB). Valid CA drivers license with access to a personal vehicle with current Ins. Fingerprinting, TB test & CPR/First Aid required.
