Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1.With the Program Director, implements the on-going operation of a supportive housing residence for formerly homeless persons living with severe mental illness and/or substance abuse disorders.
2.Provides administrative and clinical supervision to all direct care and specialty service staff.
3.Conducts individual interviews and assessments of each prospective tenant’s appropriateness for the program.
4.Directs skills-development seminars and creates individual training plans for each staff member.
5.Monitors physical, emotional, and practical needs of tenants.
6.Prepares monthly and quarterly reports on delivery of services and expenditures.
7.With the Program Director, develops and maintains a complete social service staffing schedule and protocol that applies to applicable contractual agreements.
8.Establishes and maintains liaison with the Property Management Agent.
9.Provides staff with opportunities to develop a staff support group and to participate in outside training and skill building seminars.
10.Along with the Program Director, recruits, hires and evaluates staff.
11.Ensures standards of confidentiality in handling of records.
12.Attends all trainings that may be scheduled by funding agency.
13.Attends relevant professional development conferences and makes presentations to staff at regularly scheduled intervals.
14.Provides ongoing unscheduled consultation to all social service staff members and crisis intervention to residents.
15.With the Program Director, recruits, hire, trains, and provides supervision and training to supportive housing staff and volunteers to ensure that agency and department goals are communicated effectively, job performance is continuously evaluated and agency practice standards are being met.
16.Ensure that the supportive housing program’s operations conform to and are operated within the guidelines, rules and regulations set forth by the funding agency.
17.Performs such other related duties as may be requested by Program Director or by program funders.
