PPP partners with program leaders to select and develop new interventions, analyze and interpret data, assess model fidelity and program effectiveness, train and coach staff, and develop program resources.

About the Position The PPP branch seeks a Preventive Performance Analyst to promote excellence through strategic thinking and planning, performance measurement, analysis, documentation reviews, report production, collecting participant feedback, and synthesizing and reporting information to guide our Family Treatment and Rehabilitation (FTR), Family Support (FS) and Brief Stategic Family Treatment (BSFT) prevention program management decisions.

The ideal candidate will have a mix of child welfare practice knowledge and technical knowledge. The candidate will be able to support preventive program leadership and staff to make decisions based on their/her/his superior program/data analysis capabilities and a strong understanding of how non-profit management decision making can be supported through timely and reliable data. The ideal candidate will have the ability to review, analyze, interpret and succinctly summarize information from diverse sources, including internal and external measures and data, focus groups and family surveys.


Provide support to preventive program leadership through case practice consultations, strategic thinking and planning, and data analysis to make programmatic and individual family decisions.

Bringing an outside perspective to help the preventive case planning teams problem solve and address child safety and risk.

Collect data, produce outcomes and performance measurement reports, and summarize and interpret information to guide programmatic decision making and strengthen preventive program performance.

Conduct topic analysis in partnership with program leadership to help managers better understand performance concerns and successes.

Analyze regulatory agency data and support audits and other accountability reviews from the Administration for Children Services (ACS) and the Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS). Including, the management of quarterly and annual ACS outcomes, process and practice measures and data (Scorecard) and the interpretation of information for our preventive programs.

Analyze and present process and outcomes data to programs inclusive of facilitating discussions and workgroups, and coaching program supervisors on understanding and interpreting data.

Work in partnership with the Learning and Practice Proficiency team to support a learning culture including Solution Based Casework and Motivational Interviewing model fidelity.



Bachelor’s degree and minimum 3 years in nonprofit performance management or Master’s degree in social work, psychology, education, business, public policy, or other related field.

Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint preferred.

Experience conducting quantitative and/or qualitative research is a plus.

Experience with NYC child welfare programs and ACS requirements highly desired.

Willingness to travel throughout NYC, as needed.
