BronxWorks is hiring (1) Clinical Coordinator for the Cooper Gardens Supportive Housing Program.

The Cooper Gardens Supportive Housing Program has multiple opportunities for Clinical Coordinators to join an established clinical team. Cooper Gardens permanently houses 95 special needs tenants and families; the majority are formerly street homeless and have serious mental illness, chronic illness (including HIV/AIDS) and substance abuse challenges. Social Workers provide psychosocial support, medication monitoring, financial management assistance and supportive case management services to single adults in a community environment.

Ideal candidate is able to demonstrate ability to work in partnership with clients from a strengths based perspective, overcoming stigma, and navigating complex systems. Additionally, ideal candidate is able to adapt to an active environment, is exceptional with time management, has strong writing and communications skills, exhibits excellent attention to detail and remains a team player. Opportunities for group work are also available.

The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for providing programmatic and oversight support to the Program Director of the Cooper Gardens Supportive Housing program, which includes supervising a team of social workers, case managers, and administrative support staff. The Clinical Coordinator is deeply involved in providing direct services to 95 special needs and formerly homeless tenants and families, and have serious mental illness, chronic illness (including HIV/AIDS) and substance abuse challenges. The Clinical Coordinator will provide clinical supervision to social work staff, contribute to the continued improvement and excellence of the program.


• Bachelor’s degree required
• Licensed Master’s Degree in Social Work required
• Minimum of two years program experience
