Oak Leyden helps people with developmental disabilities lead their best lives. We are currently seeking a caring individual to join our team as an Assistant Director of Residential Services in our Community Living Services Program.
This position leads, inspires, and directs aspects of Oak Leyden’s Community Living Services program. The position will oversee six 24 hour Residential homes and is responsible for reconciliation of the Participant Financial funds. This position supervises four Home Managers, one QIDP and indirectly supervises CILA DSP’s.
Additional responsibilities include: budget management, compliance monitoring and enforcement, cost control, direct and indirect employee supervision, intake, quality assurance and policy review.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* QIDP Certification preferred, not required.
* Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services or related field.
* Minimum 3 years of applied managerial experience in the DD field, specifically over CILA group homes.
* Able to be on call 24 hours for issues that arise in our group homes.
* Experience managing and developing people.
* Knowledge and experience in Therap a plus.

* Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
* Problem solving and decision making skills.
* Maintain valid Illinois Driver’s license, access to a personal vehicle and ability to operate agency vehicle.
