Description
Are you a licensed mental health provider ready to lead and deliver critical mental health services to children and youth in our community who need them the most? If you are dedicated, assertive, and committed to making a positive difference in the lives of others, our Assistant Director position could be the perfect opportunity for you. $5000 sign-on bonus for new Seneca employees in this position! As our Assistant Director, you will supervise a team of Clinicians, Peer support, and Counselors within Seneca's MRT and START Programs in Pierce County. You will oversee all aspects of program operations, ensuring the delivery of the most effective services to youth and families. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain strong working relationships with representatives from the county, Managed Care Organizations, and other crisis providers to support the crisis continuum in Pierce County. Responsibilities Work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team to design, manage and oversee program vision and operations for MRT and START Foster healing-centered organizational systems and a staff and program culture centered around the values of love & compassion, respect, equity & justice, curiosity, hope & courage, and joy. Supervise a team of staff members, including Clinicians, Peer Supports, and Counselors Perform the following personnel functions: interviewing, hiring, supervision, evaluation, and professional development. Provide weekly individual and group supervisions, as well as ongoing training of all team members Manage referrals/intakes and staff caseloads Oversee timely completion and approval all related documentation and reports Coordinate team’s support 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. Participate in rotation for 24-hour, 7 days/week on-call crisis support line and participate in Administrator On-Call rotation for community-based employees. Attend all required meeting including but not limited to county partner meetings, staff meetings, clinical team meetings, and management team meetings Act as liaison with referring parties and outside providers Ensure program viability and financial sustainability Conduct outreach and provide presentations to the communities served by MRT and START and solicit feedback for ensuring successful program implementation. Qualifications Demonstrated commitment to developing holistic, healing-centered systems and increasing access to mental health services, particularly for individuals and communities impacted by racism and poverty. Master’s degree in social work or related field required Licensed as LMFT, LICSW, LMHC required Experience supervising others to develop new capacities and skills. Prior experience with crisis services or high-risk behaviors preferred Knowledge of behavioral health and crisis services in WA State preferred Strong writing, organizational, presentation and computer skills

Schedule Full-Time Typical schedule 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Flexible schedule required, with the ability to provide on-call weekend and holiday rotation coverage
