Ann Klein Forensic Center, located in West Trenton, NJ, invites you to join our team of professionals who are making a difference in the health and welfare of New Jersey citizens. Our inpatient facility provides quality comprehensive mental health services for individuals who require a secured psychiatric setting.

In this role, you will complete biopsychosocial assessments, providing direct clinical social work services through therapeutic relationships, while also conducting psychotherapy and psychoeducation to individuals and groups to reduce psychosocial issues.

You will be expected to participate in treatment plan meetings, commitment court, Clinical Analytics and Involuntary Medication Administer Review (IMAR) panel, documenting initial admission, progress notes, readmission, 72-hr admission and annual assessments.

Participate in community meetings with patients and provide one (1) evening and one (1) weekend a month of therapeutic structured clinical groups.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master’s in Social Work.

LICENSE: Registration as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the State of New Jersey. Applicants may be in the process as long as there is evidence of a passing score on licensure exam and that the application has been submitted.

EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of experience in social case work involving responsibility for gathering and analyzing social information from clients, the determination of their needs, and the planning and administration of treatment plans geared toward the needs of individual clients.
