Ann Klein Forensic Center, located in West Trenton, NJ, invites you to join our team of professionals who are making a difference in the health and welfare of New Jersey citizens. Our inpatient facility provides quality comprehensive mental health services for individuals who require a secured psychiatric setting.

Under the supervision of the Director of Occupational Therpist, the Therapist delivers specialized use of music to restore, maintain and improve cognitive, emotional, social, communicative and physiological functioning; utilize goal-directd music interventons to focus on sympton management, foster relationship with peers and therapists and provide psychosocial support and education to augment hope, meaning, purpose and recovery.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major course of study in Music, Music Therapy or Music Education.

EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of professional experience in a music therapy program.

NOTE: A Master's degree in Music Therapy or Creative Music Therapy with a specialization in Music Therapy may be substituted for one (1) year of experience.
