Direct Support Professionals to support ESS individuals receiving services to achieve their desired quality of life and ensure optimal health and safety, provide prescribed support and supervision, assist individuals to be as independent as possible, and to maintain their homes so they are clean, safe, and hazard free.

Direct Support Professionals perform a wide variety of person centered supports and services with a strong emphasis on personal choice to individuals with intellectual disabilities.

These supports and services involve

Assisting clients with daily personal tasks, including bathing and dressing

Advocating for, encouraging, guiding, and teaching individuals in expressing personal choice

Developing daily living skills and habits.

Taking care of their personal needs

Assuring community integration,

Ensuring for their health and safety, and maintaining a healthy, and safe home environment.

Assisting clients with daily personal tasks, including bathing and dressing
