Title: Psychologist ($1,500 Hiring incentive)
Actual offers will be determined by the candidate’s creditable years of experience in conjunction with internal equity considerations and based on the organization’s current compensation practices.
Job Summary
Works within the agency and program’s vision, mission and philosophy, and policies of the agency in partnership with the leadership team. Provides psychological services including diagnostic evaluations, parent training, plan development, and treatment implementation (individual and group intervention). Oversee clinical and administrative operations of direct reports and work collaboratively with leadership to ensure fiscal viability of program. Responsible for professional development and training of staff in multidisciplinary teams, meeting performance and productivity goals, and ensuring consistency in service delivery expectations (e.g. documentation, supervision, program policies & procedures, payor requirements, etc.). Ensures provision of high-quality services, provides clinical supervision, management, and develops programs to promote growth and implementation of quality evidence-based service within the regions.
Essential Duties
1.        Provide didactic trainings for clinicians and mental health trainees/interns.
2.        Provide weekly individual/group supervision with students, including live supervision and fidelity checks, and complete formal evaluations of staff and intern performance.
3.        Complete comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults including interviewing, administration of assessments, scoring/interpretation, feedback, and report writing.
4.        Provide direct intervention for clients and caregivers (group and individual intervention).
5.        Provide and supervise behavior health services providing direct intervention, parent training, staff and intern coaching/fidelity, and necessary coverage for staff and interns.
6.        Design and submit comprehensive treatment plans for clients that are culturally relevant, family-focused, and socially significant, that are in compliance with agency and payor timelines.
7.        Proactively identify potential conflicts; lead parties to consensus and develop same skill in direct reports.
8.        Ensure and monitor defined outcomes achievement for consumers, as well as satisfaction level for clients, and referring workers and agencies.
9.        Ensure effective coordination of services for customers with other providers, both internal and external, by supporting the development of constructive relationships and problem-solving barriers.

Minimum Education and/or Experience:
•        Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology or Developmental Psychology
•        Two (2) years of experience providing neurodevelopmental diagnostic evaluations (e.g., competent in administration, scoring, and writing reports using cognitive, developmental, behavior, social, and adaptive evaluation tools

Licensing and Certification Requirements:
•        Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of California.
•        Completion of Board of Psychology Training Requirements to provide Clinical Supervision for interns/practicum trainees.
