Description
For The Child is seeking a Master Level Therapist to join our team. For the Child serves children and families from diverse economic, cultural backgrounds. The successful candidate will share our agency’s values of equity and inclusion and will have a specific focus on working with historically underrepresented families including Black/African American, Indigenous/American Indian, Latinx, Asian American/Pacific Islander, Multiracial, LGBTQIA+ and other families from marginalized backgrounds. This position provides an opportunity to gain experience in clinical assessment, cross agency collaboration and providing quality clinical services to children and families. Eligible candidate must be currently registered with the BBS as an ACSW or MFT intern. For The Child is an agency with a long history of providing child abuse prevention and treatment services. We offer a supportive environment with wonderful training opportunities and excellent clinical supervision toward successful BBS Licensure. Currently 88% of For The Child clinicians pass their BBS licensing exam on their first attempt.

Skills
Skills:
1. Training in Evidence Based Practices preferred (PCIT, TFCBT, MAP, Seeking Safety)
2. Experience with DMH documentation
3. Strong documentation skills required.
4. Experience providing culturally responsive Mental Health services to children and families from diverse backgrounds.


Notes
Duties:
• Mental Health evaluation, treatment and case management of children and adolescents.
• Mental health duties will include crisis intervention, multi-source mental health and psychosocial assessment, DSM-IV diagnosis, treatment planning, individual, group, family therapy.
Services will be provided at schools and in the field.
• Participate in one hour of individual face to face clinical supervision weekly, and two hours of group supervision weekly.
