Directions to Admin. Building:
The Job Fair will be held in the Admin Building on the main campus at 3200 Motor Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90034. Once you get to the guard booth, drive straight until the stop sign and turn right. Drive up the small hill, and the Admin. building is the last building on the right. You can park in the visitor spots.

Items to bring:
•        State driver’s license/ID
•        Original degree/transcripts
•        Three copies of your resume

Job Details:
Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services has multiple openings for Youth Development Counselors in our residential treatment program. This is a hands-on childcare worker position. This position is for the care and supervision of emotionally and behaviorally challenged adolescents. The candidate will work with adolescents 12-18 years old, both individually and in groups, developing life skills and tools for living.
The current schedules available are either Full-Time (afternoon/evening shifts), On-Call, Overnight, and most will include working weekends.

Training/Shadowing Schedule:
Onboarding: 9am on Date of Hire
5-Days of Training: 8am-4pm; 10-days of Shadowing (80 Hours)
Mandatory First Aid/CPR Training: Date TBD
Full Pro Act Training: Date TBD

Qualifications:
•        Bachelor’s degree or AA (60 units) with 2-years of experience with adolescents in a residential treatment facility
•        A valid certificate in Drug and/or Alcohol Counseling a plus
•        Must be 21 years or older
•        Must have a good driving record
