Early Intervention Providers-Service Coordinators:
Special Instructors, ABA Therapists, PT, OT, & Speech Therapists, and Service Coordinators

Northside Center for Child Development-Early Intervention Program
Serving Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn & The Bronx

SI, ABA, PT, OT, Speech Provider Responsibilities:
•        Provides home & community based individual/collateral therapy sessions, caregiver coaching, and family training sessions as authorized by the child’s IFSP.
•        Compliance with all documentation requirements for billing, session notes, quarterly progress reports, service changes, and quality assurance procedures.
•        Maintains ongoing communication with Northside EI Staff and service coordinator.
•        Participates in IFSP’s as needed.
•        Completes Northside orientation and annual professional development requirements.

ABA Providers Responsibilities:
(Must be either a NYS Certified Special Education Teacher; Birth – Grade 2, Social Worker or Psychologist).
•        Provider will collaborate with Northside ABA supervisor to assess and develop individual child ABA program, initially and ongoing as needed.
•        Provider will maintain ongoing communication with Northside ABA supervisor to complete monthly supervision and submit all required supervision documents.
•        Provider will maintain programs for each case with documentation of direct observation, measurement, and functional analysis such as assessments, programs, data, and graphs.
•        Provider will collaborate with the child’s family/caregivers, and other multi-disciplinary providers, to assist in follow through activities, to promote progress towards goals, generalization of learning, and transitioning of services.

Service Coordinator (Fee-For-Service) Responsibilities
•        Provide initial and ongoing service coordination for children with developmental delays/disabilities and their families in Manhattan and the Bronx.
•        Provide service coordination in accordance with NYC EIP policies & procedures.
•        Guide families through the Early Intervention Process-referral, evaluation, IFSP, Transition.
•        Compliance with all EIP & Northside documentation requirements for billing, sessions notes, and EI forms.
•        Maintain activity on cases and meet productivity expectations.
•        Compliance with all Northside EI Policies & procedures including supervision, staff meetings, documentation and QA requirements.
•        Preferred Skills- Ability to engage and communicate with families experiencing stress or who are inaccessible. Ability to effectively educate families about the EIP process, their rights and responsibilities; and provide support, guidance, resources and advocacy as needed.
•        Exceptional time management, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
