Description
The New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (The NYSPCC) seeks a motivated, highly organized administrative assistant with strong communication and technology skills to serve as the Program Coordinator for the Clinical Department. The position is Monday – Friday with a hybrid of remote and in-person time. The Program Coordinator will play an essential role in supporting the agency mission to effectively respond to the complex needs of abused and neglected children, and those involved in their care. The Program Coordinator assists the Clinical Department in the day-to-day operations of the Crisis Debriefing, Trauma Recovery, and Therapeutic Supervised Visitation Programs. • Assist in the management of referrals made to The NYSPCC’s clinical programs; serve as a liaison with courts and other referrals sources. • Conduct outreach to newly referred families and communicate agency updates to enrolled families. • Assist in the management of daily program operations by maintaining caseload master list and therapist schedules, entering referral data, and coordinating case assignments. • Design and maintain Excel spreadsheets tracking program deliverables and billing. • Coordinate new hire interviews. • Participate in weekly Clinical Department team meetings. • Answer phone calls and greet program participants and visitors at the front desk two mornings a week.

Skills
• Bachelor’s degree plus five years of relevant office experience required • Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency required • Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite required • Experience working in social service agency, particularly with families impacted by trauma, preferred
