Full time Clinical Supervisor - Some Remote work is available. During the pandemic, we are currently in the office two days out of the week and will gradually return pending COVID-19 cases.

Helpline Youth Counseling (HYC), a nonprofit agency has been providing youth services in Southeast Los Angeles County since 1971 with a primary purpose of providing therapeutic counseling and assistance to at-risk, low income children, youth and their families.

The Family Services Clinical Supervisor will be under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services. The Family Services Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for:

Planning, implementation and evaluation of the Southeast Communities Family Preservation Program Network location at HYCs East Los Angeles office.
Provides guidance and leadership to program staff and Interns.
Provide clinical supervision to counseling staff/interns and their programs.
Provide weekly group and individual clinical supervision to pre-licensed Masters level staff who are working towards licensure.
Provide consultation, training, and support to all counseling staff.
Review clinical documentation (progress notes, treatment plans, Up Front Assessments, etc.)
Will be the central point of contact regarding program services to the community.
Facilitate all required Family Preservation meetings including the Monthly Family Preservation Network meetings, convene all Multidisciplinary Case Planning Meetings, insuring the continuity of those meetings, and attending and supporting all Family Preservation Community Advisory Council Meetings.
Represent the Agency in the community through participation in interagency coalitions to address critical issues in the promotion of safe and stable families in Los Angeles County including the monthly Family Preservation Roundtable.
Monitor the fulfillment of the contracts, including accurate documentation of all service activities, preparation of periodic contract reports, and Unit compliance with all contract requirements in accordance with Federal, State, County, City and agency guidelines.
Responsible for monthly narratives, and annual reports;
Monitors referral count and works with DCFS to obtain new referrals as needed.
Responsible for internal program audits, including developing audit tools and tracking.
Conduct weekly program meetings with staff and provide necessary trainings
Will serve as an ambassador for the agency at all relevant external meetings
Performs other duties as assigned.

Masters degree in Psychology or Social Work.
Valid California License in Psychology, or LCSW, LMFT, LPCC.
Minimum of 1-3 years post licensed clinical supervision or program management experience.
Verification of 6 hours of Clinical Supervision training CEUs
Minimum 5 years direct practice experience in the youth and families services field including counseling of children, adolescents and their families.

CAMFT/AAMFT Approved supervisor status.
Cultural diversity and multi-lingual skills: Bilingual Spanish Required
Covid 19 Vaccination with Booster required
