We are currently seeking a dynamic Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) to join our clinical team within our outpatient treatment program in the Bronx and offering a Sign-On Bonus of $750 for candidate hired with a CRC credential for certain programs.
In this role you will:
Under general direction, is responsible for assessing client skills, aptitudes, needs and preferences towards facilitating the client’s job readiness and employment search. This position provides individual and group vocational counseling including assessments, evaluations, and referrals. Functions as an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team, participating in developing vocational goals and objectives for the client’s treatment plan.
What qualifications do you need:
Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Counseling or Guidance with a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) credential.
One year of experience in an agency providing vocational rehabilitation counseling for substance users or clients in other types of behavioral healthcare settings.
