Description

This is an excellent part-time opportunity for a bilingual (English/Spanish) social service professional. NCJW NY’s Hunger Program has been providing nutrition assistance to NYC’s low-income population for nearly 40 years. At this time, our organization seeks to broaden and deepen our programming by connecting these families to services and supports that can help them to achieve economic stability. Working with NCJW NY’s program team, the Caseworker/Coordinator will assess client needs and devise and implement strategies to meet those needs. The role includes individual client casework, program and partnership development, and on-site service events.

Client Casework

Program Enhancement
Identify and implement program enhancements to meet needs of clients in areas including health, housing, immigration, legal aid, education and employment opportunities, through strategies like partnerships with other organizations, distribution of informational resources, and on-site service events.
Implement Social Services Database
Assist the Chief Program Officer in customizing and implementing a new social services database for client tracking and analysis.
