WHAT YOU'LL DO

** We have openings for this position in our East LA & Arcadia offices **

The essential functions include:
- Oversee and coordinate service delivery activities to community based Wraparound program and ensure compliance with Wraparound contract and statement of work
- Provide staff with weekly group and individual supervision and consultation and resources regarding clients or other matters related to the delivery of services, as well as administrative and personnel matters
- Supervision of staff which may include therapists, facilitators, child and family specialist supervisor, mental health rehabilitation specialists
- Maintain program productivity records and generates periodic reports regarding program activity
- Knowledgeable of the acts in accordance with all prevailing governmental laws and regulations regarding the provision of mental health services, including confidentiality and limits thereof, the reporting of child abuse/neglect, and related regulations
- Knowledgeable of and acts in accordance with ethical and professional standards established by appropriate professional organizations, whether or not the individual is a member of any such organization
- Budgetary responsibility for the program including salaries, expenditures, and future projects needs
- Perform managerial duties including: recruitment, interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating department staff
- Responsible for collaborating with Director of Systems management, Quality Management Director and Records Technician to monitor, maintain and develop systems related to these departments as they pertain to Wraparound
- Develop and implement internal systems for Utilization Review
- Interact with the community at large and with specific allied agencies, other programs, and funding sources in a manner that facilitates and enhances the operation of Wraparound and the Center as a whole
- Attend and participate in FRC meetings, including staff trainings, supervisory training seminars and COA related committees, task force groups and other meetings as needed
- Be on call 24/7 periodically by phone to provide support and resources to staff
- Obtain LPS certification and be available to write holds for hospitalization
- Provide minimal direct services to participants of the program; maintaining client files in accordance with contract requirements

ADDITIONAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use of your personal vehicle is necessary to travel to off-site meetings. You will be responsible for keeping a mileage records and submitting it to your supervisor for reimbursement. Proof of current liability insurance on your personal vehicle must be provided at time of employment and when it is renewed.

Skills
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Doctoral or Master's degree in a mental health field, plus 3 years experience in relevant setting
- Clinical license and CA BBS registered for 2 years preferred
- Experience working with DMH/DCFS funded programs preferred
- 1-2 years relevant experience with supervising direct care staff highly desirable
- Demonstrate strong understanding of Wraparound values and family focused care Preferred
- Valid California drivers license, driving record and personal vehicle insu
