Description Catalyze Evaluation is currently hiring a Research Associate (Youth Research Coordinator) with expertise in qualitative data collection and analysis. The Research Associate will play a key role in supporting a team of evaluators working on implementation, developmental and outcomes evaluation. This position will be part-time (minimum - 50% time) or full-time. Preferred residence in or near Omaha, Nebraska; required residence in either Nebraska or Colorado (states in which Catalyze offices are located). The position will involve working primarily on an evaluation of an ambitious, multi-year collaborative adolescent sexual health project, as well as other evaluation projects.
Support senior evaluators' data collection activities Train local youth researchers in data collection and analysis methods Support and supervise local youth researchers in data collection, analysis and reporting Act as liaison between youth researchers and clients to promote utilization of youth findings Provide transportation to youth researchers as needed (with mileage reimbursement) Attend multiple weekly meetings Semi-structured observation at meetings Qualitative data collection (focus groups/qualitative interviews/rapid ethnography with adults & youth) Transcribing recorded interviews/focus groups Maintaining qualitative database Analysis of data from multiple sources Report writing
