Job Summary: Full-Time Front Desk Counselor (FDC) positions available for day and evening shifts at residential programs in Brooklyn. Programs service SMI adults in 24 hour congregate care housing.

Columbia | Thursday-Monday, 4pm to 12am
Columbia | Thursday-Monday, 8am to 4pm
Gates | Sunday-Thursday, 8am to 4pm
Ralph | Thursday-Monday, 12am to 8am
Essential Functions: Duties include reception, security and documentation. This position operates in an agency Residential Facility and requires staff to enter residential units. Must have excellent verbal skills, professional demeanor, acceptable writing ability and good judgment. The position uses standardized office equipment such as phones, computers, fax machines, and copiers.
Minimum Education/Requirements: H.S. degree/GED and experience working with the target population as part of mental health team required.
1. Undergo background clearances prior to employment including fingerprinting with New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services, State Central Registry (SCR) clearance, the Staff Exclusion List (SEL), and K-checks Exclusion Management.
2. Ability to maintain clearances throughout the duration of employment.
3. COVID-19 vaccination required.
