Job Summary: Full-Time Office Manager for a mental health and substance abuse clinic. Directly supervises all front desk staff and administrative interns. Duties include but are not limited to schedule management, handling phone calls and intakes, processing insurance, interfacing with billing department, and other day-to-day duties. The office manager will also be responsible for managing interns to help run the office at any given point. Schedule Available: Generally Monday - Friday, 8.30am to 5pm. Some late nights might be required. Saturday, once a month from 9am to 3pm coverage is expected. Spanish-Speaking strongly preferred.
Essential Functions: Ability to multi-task, keen attention to detail, management skills. Excellent phone skills (warm, yet assertive), sense of humor. Must have excellent organizational, written and communications skills. Must be outcome oriented in a fast paced environment with deadlines. Must take initiative and pride in the execution of job responsibilities. Must be skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel, and internet search engines and sites.
Minimum Education/Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required. Experience with mental health population preferred.
1. Undergo background clearances prior to employment including fingerprinting with New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services, State Central Registry (SCR) clearance, the Staff Exclusion List (SEL), and K-checks Exclusion Management.
2. Ability to maintain clearances throughout the duration of employment.
3. COVID-19 vaccination required.
Rate of Pay: $23.08/hour
