FAMILY SOCIAL WORKER – Washington Residence

Job Summary: Full-Time Family Social Worker to provide services to children, adolescents, and families for Supportive Housing Program located in the Bronx. Main responsibilities will include individual and family counseling, crisis intervention, assistance with formulation and achievement of goals and objectives, providing after school activities and groups, entitlement advocacy, and ADL skill training. Schedule Available: Tuesday-Saturday, 12pm to 8pm.
Essential Functions: This position operates in an agency Residential Facility. The position requires regular entry into personal residential units. The position uses standardized office equipment such as phones, computers, fax machines, and copiers. Must have excellent organizational, written and communications skills.
Minimum Education/Requirements: Position requires Master’s Degree in Social Work with experience providing services to children and families. Must have excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills. Knowledge of or experience in residential settings is a plus.
1. Undergo background clearances prior to employment including fingerprinting with New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services, State Central Registry (SCR) clearance, the Staff Exclusion List (SEL), and K-checks Exclusion Management.
2. Ability to maintain clearances throughout the duration of employment.
3. COVID-19 vaccination required.
Rate of Pay: $52,350 annually
