The Weekend Supervisor’s primary focus will be providing oversight of NOC STRTP staff and ensuring the safety and quality of care of SGCC clients. Additionally, this position will review compliance with the Title XXII regulations during the PM, Weekend and NOC shifts.

•        Routinely evaluates the STRTP site for compliance with Title XXII requirements, CCL regulations and SGCC policies and procedures.
•        Ensures the STRTP facilities are clean and safe by inspecting the site. This includes assuring clients have access to basic needs: toiletries, linen, staffing, over the counter medications and other basic necessities.
•        Supervises the interactions of Residential Counselors and clients; ensures Counselors are maintaining STRTP treatment plans.
•        Approves NOC staff schedules, time-off, and assesses and obtains permission for overtime for staff.
•        Ensures all NOC shift positions are covered with the appropriate ratio of staff and oversees all sites during the NOC shifts.
•        Conducts nightly rounds and releases NOC staff for breaks; assures staff are supervising residents under their direct care. Rotation and presence at home(s) when possible should be on a random schedule so presence is not predictable.
•        Monitors NOC staff in the use of an electronic device or personal observation to record the presence of STRTP clients in their beds throughout the evening in 5-20 minute increments and note their status.
•        Assesses and evaluates the NOC Residential Counselors performance for effectiveness and adherence to policy and procedures.
•        Recognizes and reports problems to the appropriate Site Administrator and/or Residential Manager in a timely manner.
•        Assists in medical and behavioral situations that necessitate intervention and takes appropriate steps to ensure resident safety and comfort in all crisis situations.

•        Bachelor of Art or Sciences Degree; or previously been employed as a staff or volunteer at a short-term residential therapeutic center for at least one year. Other education/experience may qualify.
•        Prefer one year of lead or supervisor experience.
•        Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to fulfill program needs.

•        Meet Title XXII personnel requirements which includes but is not limited to: obtaining and maintaining clearance on fingerprints, child abuse index, pre-employment physical, TB test, and drug test.
•        Obtain and sustain a valid California driver’s license, provide current proof of auto insurance and maintain a safe vehicle. Maintain a good driving record which is acceptable by our insurance carrier.
