Description
Family and Children’s Services (FACS) is an independent non-profit behavioral health and social services agency based in Elizabeth, NJ serving Union County and the surrounding areas with an emphasis on those most vulnerable, at-risk, disadvantaged and under-served. We are seeking a top notch psychologist to fill the per diem fee-for-service role described below:

JOB FUNCTION:
Provide psychological testing and evaluation for children, adolescents, and adults for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment recommendations. Assessments may be conducted on-site at FACS’s Elizabeth office or via telehealth as appropriate and as allowed by government regulations.

JOB EXPECTATIONS:
- Provide psychological evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment recommendations for clients in an effective, culturally sensitive, professional and ethical manner
- Write assessment reports in a clear and concise manner for recipients, which may include a FACS’ treating clinician, FACS’ clinical supervisor, as well as case-involved staff of public funding agencies, as allowed by HIPAA and other applicable regulations
- Comply with the ethical standards and license requirements of respective professions
- Comply with state confidentiality laws and child abuse reporting laws
- Conducts self in a professional manner that positively reflects the agency culture
- Work collaboratively with agency clinical team to effectively communicate and problem solve
- Attend agency and program meetings and trainings when required
- Other duties as assigned to perform the essential functions

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- New Jersey State Licensed Psy.D. or Ph.D. level
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written/verbal skills
- Depending on referral activity, expected number of hours will be 10-20 per month
- Have flexibility scheduling home-based telehealth sessions
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
