Description
Responsibilities:
?        Reach out to, meet with, and maintain communication with personnel at Bronx Colleges/Universities and other institutions with established partnerships, particularly with the Title IX Coordinator and related officials
?        Develop new partnerships and collaborations with Colleges/Universities with the goal of developing new Memorandum of Understanding agreements
?        Conduct preventive and educational sessions for campus community members on the matters of sexual and interpersonal violence, including evidence-based, evidence-informed, and/or promising practice programs
?        Provide support and services to victims/survivors as requested, including but not limited to providing short term counseling, assisting and advocating for individuals through the conduct and/or criminal processes, and providing referrals to other resources that might be beneficial to the victim/survivor
?        Assist and participate in campus events and projects, particularly to incorporate preventative GBV programming
?        Manage and document data for the Enough is Enough contract to report to the New York State Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence
?        Support other prevention, educational, and programming efforts within the Changing Futures program
?        Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
?        A Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field (e.g., social work, public health) is required with a Master’s degree strongly preferred. Candidates with licensure will be given priority consideration.
?        At least one to three years in advocacy, health education, or helping related fields. Experience in higher education is preferred.
?        Experience in developing and leading workshops and/or trainings.
?        Understanding of sexual and interpersonal violence issues on a Federal, state, and local level.
?        Knowledge of crisis intervention, trauma informed practices, and primary prevention education.
?        Bilingual Spanish encouraged to apply.

?        Flexibility to meet campus and student needs via in-person and remote campus work*
*Pending COVID-19 restrictions and health and safety guidelines; currently EIE programming is primarily virtual but is expected to return to on-site programming on campuses and at KHCC based on need and COVID-19 restrictions.

Compensation: Salary based on experience.
