Description
The Bridge, an innovative and well-respected mental health agency serving adults with serious mental illness, substance abuse, co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders, and co-morbid medical conditions is seeking a Director of Residential Program Operations for it's Residential Service Program.
Scope of Position:
Review Restorative providers credentialing, including checking OPRA Status of all providers; train staff, and randomly monitor/review Medicaid billable notes, services plans and PARS; create, update, and maintain all housing policy and procedures including, but not limited to, HUD McKinney, OMH Licensed, OMH Supported Housing, OASAS, DOHMH, OTDA and DHS; create and execute quarterly trainings on regulations, audit prep, and new policies; perform annual program operation audits across all programs; assist with AWARDS and documentation trainings; monitor annual staff training checklist for all programs to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies; attend and participate in coalition meetings such as SHNNY, NYCCOC, and ACL; preparation and submission of required HUD documentation (Annual Performance Reviews, evaluations and NOFA applications); submission of HMIS data to DHS; assist with all POCAS, PIPS, EZPars, RFPS, and other responses to regulatory agencies for Residential; attend all residential program audits and program monitoring such as OMH Licensing, OMH & DOHMH Supported Housing, OPRE, OASAS, OTDA, DHS and HUD McKinney and any other duties as assigned


Skills
Education/Qualifications:
Master's degree in a related field preferred with experience working with vulnerable populations a plus; excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail; superior computer literacy skills, with a demonstrated familiarity with AWARDS and Excel a must; must be a team player who is stress resistant, flexible, creative and open to feedback;


Notes
excellent verbal and written communication skills; knowledge of New York City supportive housing systems, HUD HMIS, OMH, DOHMH, DHS, and OASAS programs a plus
