Good Counsel is seeking a highly skilled social services manager who is 100% mission focused and aligned with our pro-life focus. You create the atmosphere that propels the women from homelessness to independence and helps ensure the babies are born into a safe and loving environment. You and the case workers will work alongside Residential Advisors who help teach life skills, parenting, and successful independent living classes. We have a monthly spirituality training for the residents. You will be a positive social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual living example for pregnant mothers and their children.The ideal candidate:
Masters of social work
5 years of experience as a Director of Case Management
Detailed knowledge of community resources - hospital, homeless, community and housing.
Committed to the organization’s pro-life mission.
Confident, patient, dependable and capable of handling difficult situations with compassion and professionalism. You are seen by others as the “go-to” person.
Respects co-workers and the families we serve as valuable individuals.
A driver’s license, vehicle insurance and a clean driving record.
The ability to pass a criminal/child protection background check.
Required Qualifications:
Applicant must have at a minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Sociology or social work
Applicant must have a minimum of five years supervisory/management experience
Applicant must have a minimum of three years case management experience
Drivers License
Background in social services, preferably in a residential setting
Loves being around babies and toddlers
Aligned with pro-life mission with demonstrated examples and references
Has experience mentoring young women/young moms.

You can be a part of transforming a woman’s life by managing five case workers who help pregnant women with mental health, behavioral health, and all social services needs. This position requires extensive driving and travel between our four to five maternity homes. You will travel daily, visiting each of Good Counsel’s Homes across New York and New Jersey biweekly and manage case workers at each home.
