Description
Clinician is responsible for providing direct mental health services to children/adolescents and their families in an outpatient clinic setting. The clinician is expected to abide by the agency regulations regarding record keeping; will work together with other involved agencies (i.e. DCFS, Probation) to coordinate treatment; and will demonstrate appropriate therapeutic and ethical practices at all times.

Duties Include:

Provide individual, group, and family therapy to minors.
Participate in multi-systemic treatment that may or may not include educational, psychiatric, legal, and social services, and acts as coordinator of all such services.
Responsible for documentation including assessments, log sheets, progress notes, and additional documentation as necessary.
Develop interventions that target challenges presented by multiple systems (school, peers, community, family, and individual).
Provide case management and linkage for family to assist with improved family functioning.

Skills
Qualifications
All applicants MUST be licensed as a MA/MSW in counseling, social work, or related field and registered as an MFT Intern or an ACSW, and also have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health setting. All applicants must also have a valid California Driver’s License is required. Be able and willing to work two evenings per week.
