• Participate in strategy and decision-making activities related to the program portfolio.
• Develop effective working relationships with employers and maintain regular contact to monitor internship and/or employment satisfaction.
• Assess the staffing needs of businesses and track employment placement and retention outcomes for program participants.
• Collaborate with the Diversity and Inclusion Specialist to ensure work readiness activities are facilitated which will include but not limited to updating resumes, interviewing preparation, and independent job search techniques.
• Recruit, Screen and Enroll program participants and document all services as required by the program and agency procedures.
• Manage enrollment of participants into the Diversity and Inclusion portal.
• Manage program budget lines and ensure reconciliation of all expenses.
• Provide supervision to 1-2 interns and/or volunteers.
• Participate in professional development through individual and group supervision, attendance at conferences, workshops, seminars, or webinars. REQUIRED EDUCATION, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES INCLUDE:
• Bachelors degree required with at least three years of professional work experience preferably in employment services and/or case management. At least 1 year of supervisory experience required.
• Experience building trusting relationships and collaborative efforts with diverse individuals, employers, colleges and community partners.
• Strong oral and written communication, time management and organizational skills are necessary.

• Interact professionally with people from diverse socio-economic, racial, ethnic, and cultural groups.
• Capacity to work effectively, take initiative, and thrive in a collaborative work environment.
• Experience with outreach, recruitment social media and audience development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other standard business technology.
• Ensure confidentiality in all areas of responsibility.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

Ability to work outdoors and travel throughout NYC.
Attend and participate in organization-wide initiatives as required (occasional evening or weekend events).
Other duties as assigned.
