Description
The Wraparound Therapist provides therapeutic services, including individual and family therapy, case management, permanency planning, and crisis intervention, to youth as part of the service package of the Wraparound Program. The Wraparound Program is the most intensive and comprehensive tier of community-based service and holds fidelity to a national model. The Wrap Therapist is an integral member of the Wraparound team and provides services at the program site and in the community, including schools, and family homes. In addition to symptom management and reduction, therapists also collaborate with the team to identify and support any additional work to maintain progress toward overall wellness goals, such as increasing independent skills, increasing adaptive coping skills, expanding their support network, accessing community resources, and pursuing employment and educational opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Actively contribute and work with the Wrap Care Coordinator in developing intake assessment, treatment planning, crisis intervention and other mental health services as needed at the program site, in clients’ homes, and in the community.
  • Provide individual therapy, family therapy, and case management services to help clients reduce mental health symptoms and gain increased functionality in the community.
  • Collaborate with youth to develop their sustainable wellness plan that includes identifying their network of natural supports, self-regulation skills, etc.
  • Collaborate with any ancillary providers or other providers as needed
  • Participate in a on-call rotation with other staff members of the Wraparound Program
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with community members, service providers, and county partners.
  • Commit to and engage in self-evaluation as well as organizational efforts goals, strategies, and systemic practices regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or social work required.
  • LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC Licensed or license eligible with the California BBS.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus!
  • Own vehicle, California driver’s license and insurance.

Schedule

  • Full time Monday- Friday
  • Flexible schedule required, with the ability to work some evening and weekend hours as needed
