Warrenville Youth & Family Services (WYFS)
WYFS is a multi-purpose community resources center serving the residents of the Warrenville area and serving as the host site for Outreach’s clinical services in West
Chicago District 33. WYFS Programs include the Community Counseling Center, Case Management Assistance, Mentoring and Quest-an after school/ summer-school program for middle school aged youth.

Job Responsibilities:
The Bilingual Youth & Family Therapist provides support and therapy to children and their families within the WeGo Community School District (West Chicago).
Responsibilities include providing individual and/ or family therapy to identified elementary students either at the school, in their home, and/ or at an agreed upon
community-based location; collaboration with school-based providers, teachers and administration to formulate comprehensive assessment, treatment plan and ongoing treatment evaluation; participation in scheduled provider partner meetings with WeGo administrative staff; engaging and maintaining strong community contacts to ensure quantity and quality of referral sources; and completion of all required documentation according to OCM & WeGo standards.

Bilingual (Spanish/ English) with ability to provide therapy in Spanish. Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy or related field. Clinical licensure strongly preferred. Demonstrated success in behavioral health treatment and previous experience in systemic interventions with
children and youth; ability to navigate the educational, legal and mental health delivery systems; sensitivity to the needs of a low-income, culturally diverse population. Valid IL driver’s licenses, insurance, reliable vehicle and good driving record. Microsoft Word/ Excel. A commitment to Outreach Community Ministries

Full-time at 40-45 hours/ week. Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 7:00pm or Monday –Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm.

Salary for this position falls between $40,000-$44,000 based on language skills, clinical experience and licensure.
