Under the supervision of the AVP of the Finger Lakes Region and the Vice President of Behavioral Health Support Services, this licensed clinical staff member will provide intensive home, school, and community based assessments, clinical treatment, and crisis intervention services to eligible youth and families.
HOURS PER WEEK: Exempt
Typical hours Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
Must have ability to flex schedule to meet needs of families, including ability to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends
License in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling with experience in strength-based family and children’s services
Ability and willingness to engage and work with families in an "in-home" context
Knowledge of family systems theory and home based interventions
Knowledge and experience formulating clinical diagnoses
Ability to engage families who may have been unsuccessful in clinic settings
Ability to clearly communication both in writing and verbally
Ability to have flexibility in hours worked both routinely, so as to meet children and families when they are available, and occasionally, in response to crises which may occur at any hour of any day
Ability to maintain and uphold professional boundaries
Ability to work effectively and patiently with others in difficult and/or stressful situations
Valid NYS Driver’s License
Vehicle required: Must be safe and dependable
Ability to drive and operate a motor vehicle with passengers
Ability to complete word processing tasks including responding to e-mails and completing computerized documentation
