Under the Supervision of the Vice President of CNY TFFC Clinical Services, this staff member will coordinate treatment planning for all youth and families served by the Treatment Family Foster Care program. This staff member will ensure that youth, foster families, and discharge resources build a partnership through clinical interventions provided by the team. The Clinical Director will also provide individual and family therapy to assigned youth and their families in addition to providing weekly clinical supervision to assigned program clinicians.
HOURS PER WEEK: Exempt
40 hours per week
Ability to flex schedule to meet program needs, including ability to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends
Oversee the on call rotation. Availability to treatment team to support crisis response
LCSW, LMHC, LMSW - Licensure required and 2 years of experience working with youth and families in out-of-home care
Prior supervisory experience preferred
Possess the knowledge, attitude, and skills needed to appreciate and encourage a supportive and diverse work environment
Oversee all treatment planning and delivery of services within the TFFC program, including review of case files, treatment documentation, and recommendations
Experience using a trauma informed treatment model
Understanding of therapeutic crisis intervention practices
Experience providing home-based services to children, adolescents and families preferred
Ability to support and coach foster parents
Ability to oversee clinical case documentation and treatment planning
Experience completing comprehensive mental health assessments and treatment plans
Valid NYS Driver’s License
Vehicle required: Must be safe and dependable.
