JOB SUMMARY: Hathaway-Sycamores Child & Family Services provides a spectrum of mental health services through various programs for populations of all acuities. Although it serves a variety of consumers, the agency focuses primarily on providing care to low-income, high at- risk youth. The Senior Research Analyst is a management level position that requires extensive experience overseeing an array of evaluation and/or research activities, data management, as well as supervisory experience. The Senior Research Analyst works collaboratively with other agency leaders to streamline data collection, identify performance trends, evaluation needs, and support the development of action plans to improve performance. In addition, the Senior Research Analyst provides data insight to help inform the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, as assigned. This position also supports Fund Development in the grant application and reporting of evaluation activities and achievement of grant outcomes. The Senior Research Analyst will work collaboratively with the department leadership team in promoting organizational learning and program improvement by overseeing evaluation and/or research projects, organizational reports, and other departmental projects as assigned. The analyst will lead evaluation projects, oversee data management /analysis, and will also design and distribute evaluation reports. The analyst will regularly collaborate with senior leadership, operations, programs, and agency leadership in assessing evaluation needs in efforts to promote a culture of learning and bridge the gap between practice and research.
- Master’s level preferred in Social Science or related field AND at least 2 years of relevant management and evaluation experience required
- Experience working with multiple datasets and/or analyzing data from multiple data sources required
- Supervisory Experience: 1 year minimum required
- Maintains all required licenses and certifications.
- Knowledge of research and evaluation design and methods
- Proficient computer skills in MS office, and analytical skills using MS Excel, MS Access, and SPSS
