JOB SUMMARY: Hathaway-Sycamores Child & Family Services provides a spectrum of mental health services through various programs for populations of all acuities. Although it serves a variety of consumers, the agency focuses primarily on providing care to low-income, high at-risk youth.
The Senior Director of Policy and New Initiatives works directly with the Vice President of Business Development and collaborates with the Vice President of Public Policy and Advocacy to assist in the administration of new business opportunities that meet the plans and goals of the agency. The Senior Director of Policy and New Initiatives will also assist in the application of the agency’s public policy agenda at the local, state, and federal levels. The Senior Director of Policy and New Initiatives will report directly to the Vice President of Business Development and will collaborate with the VP of Public Policy and Advocacy as well as other members of the executive leadership team at Hathaway-Sycamores to participate in helping to shape the Agency’s culture towards accountability and innovation.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor’s degree required; Masters preferred.
At least 5 years of relevant experience required
Excellent writing, research, and communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to meet deadlines.
