Description
•Provide trauma-informed and culturally competent assessments, counseling, advocacy, and skill-building
•Develop and provide support groups, consultations, professional development training, crisis intervention, and mental/behavioral health support to USS Youth Department Staff in Manhattan and Brooklyn
•Provide clinical and task SIFI Supervision to MSW students and staff
•Conduct intensive and creative outreach to communities in under-served areas of Manhattan and Brooklyn
•Develop individualized service plans and facilitate service delivery within the context of the needs, goals and ethnic, religious and cultural identities as well as identifying other needed service components
•Coordinate and collaborate on treatment plans, program design and program implementation
•Become knowledgeable of the mental health resources and youth department strengths/needs in Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn
•Maintain case management records, data collection, and documentation according to funding requirements
•Establish and facilitate workshops, presentations, community partnerships and trainings in the community
•Provide crisis intervention, prevention and resolution
•Become trained and well-versed in the program’s Electronic Health Records, TREAT and Salesforce
•Oversee service provision, treatment plans, clinical practice and documentation of supervisees
•Participate and co-facilitate team meetings, individual/group supervisions, and case conferences


Skills
•LMSW and SIFI.
•3+ years experience working with diverse populations
•Create a positive and caring work culture that promotes well-being, racial equity, respect and self-care
•You know that communication is key and you are technologically savvy
•You are organized and passionate about accuracy
•You thrive in a busy environment and meet deadlines.
•You are comfortable with telehealth as well as onsite.
•A plus if you are Bilingual in English/Spanish, English/Cantonese or English/Mand
