Description
The Member Services Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of membership and administrative services for the three membership programs within WISE & Healthy Aging, primarily Los Angeles Oasis/Club WISE, including fulfillment of higher tiered, concierge-level membership services. Provide administrative support by assisting as a back-up for associated membership programs in the congregate meals program (WISE Diner) and transportation and mobility services (MODE).

II. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide face-to-face and phone service, for approximately 1000-plus members which includes: timely responding to requests for a variety of information and assistance, scheduling of appointments, requests for referrals and direct service when necessary.
Provide exemplary customer service with warmth, tact, diplomacy and patience, to members as well as to staff, volunteers, vendors, community organizations and the general public.
Maintain the membership database (mySeniorcenter platform) to process new members and other changes, generate monthly reports for accounting purposes and track measurable objectives.
Ensure that reporting requirements are met per funding sources, including tracking of members, membership renewals, service utilization and members surveying via the database tracking system.
Perform administrative duties including but not limited to, records management, departmental calendar, calendar listings to local newspaper, new member packets, office supplies.
Coordinate community and member events, including set-up and clean-up of events.
Participate in health and volunteer fairs to market /Los Angeles Oasis/Club WISE and volunteer opportunities.
When necessary, provide transportation service for members at the concierge-level memberships.
Coordinate vendor vetting process while researching, identify and contact WISE & Healthy Aging vendors of the concierge-level memberships
Provide other support as needed among the programs in WISE & Healthy Aging
III. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Able to set-up and take-down office equipment each day.
Coordinate community and member events, including set-up and clean-up of events.
Able to drive members to local events as needed.
Qualifications
Education
Minimum of High School Diploma. College degree preferred.
Experience
A minimum of two years work experience in a fast-paced environment with prior experience working with older adults, other at-risk populations and/or volunteer groups
A minimum of two years work experience in social services, community outreach, customer service and/or member services organizations required
A minimum of two years experience in database management and data collection
Good communication/ relationship skills & good judgment.
Ability to independently plan, prepare and carry out assignments.
